Details about the Role:

As an Accounting Manager with BKE, you will be responsible for the day to day bookkeeping and monthly close out of BKE’s’ financial records.  You will be a “go-to/expert” for bookkeeping and accounting questions.  The right person is smart, driven, eager to learn, not afraid of asking questions, and excited about working within a small team and helping to grow BKE!  We are happy to answer questions, provide training, and support our new team members.  We take care of our people and help them grow.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Perform multi-entity reconciliations, month-end close and other accounting functions as needed

  • Ability to operate in cloud-based environments

  • Work closely with Sales Team to track new customers and help set-up accounts in Salesforce.com

  • Ability to communicate to current clients

  • Manage staff on a daily basis

  • Daily, weekly, monthly dashboard reporting to Leadership

  • Ad hoc analytical reporting as needed

Job requirements:

 

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent work experience

  • 3 - 5 years of hands-on Accounting experience

  • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, Google Apps, and web based apps

  • Ability to adjust in a fast changing environment

  • Experience in multi-entity general ledger, month-end close and financial statement

  • Motivated self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Multi-tasker: ability to prioritize and stay on top of multiple tasks and projects

  • Team Player: Ability to work well with others is important

  • Interest in learning and exploring new technologies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills
